Raul "Ray" Rosa was born on September 4, 1979 to mother Sonia Rosa & Father Raul Rosa. Ray grew up in the Williamsburg Section of Brooklyn where he made many friends. Anyone who knew Ray could see what a beautiful person he was, it was hard not to like him. He was a hard working man, a great father to his kids, and a mentor to many here in Brooklyn! What more could you ask for in a person?!
On June 28, 2009 Ray was sadly called to his final resting place when he was fatally shot in front of Mi Gente Sports Bar & Lounge, while trying to be a good samaritan and break up a fight. Ray's killer still remains at large. This is an unfortunate crime that keeps repeating. We need to stop the violence! By bystanders not saying anything crimes go unsolved and a family never has closure that they need! We know someone knows something please avenge Ray's murderer so someone else doesn’t lose a son, father, brother or friend!
Ray is survived by his mother, father, wife, two children, grandmother, two sisters, and a niece, and array of extended family members & friends.
Ray will never be forgotten! "Let's End the Silence on Violence!!"

Yo my manz ray I'm soooo sorry thiz had two end thiz way on a bad foot instead of you here ending it on the right foot I will never forget all the good moments all the good talks about my future and helping me out with basketball making it threw school making me laugh making me smile and jus having the same kind of fun and joy with me like u had wen u was in my shoes at my age and I'm thankful 2 have u in my life u will always be here 2 me cause I see u in spirt I have u in my heart and I also can see your 2 lil kids u made I kno u not here but u really are in spirt and I jus wanna say I love and I miss you like we all do and thank 4 everything
