Raul "Ray" Rosa was born on September 4, 1979 to mother Sonia Rosa & Father Raul Rosa. Ray grew up in the Williamsburg Section of Brooklyn where he made many friends. Anyone who knew Ray could see what a beautiful person he was, it was hard not to like him. He was a hard working man, a great father to his kids, and a mentor to many here in Brooklyn! What more could you ask for in a person?!
On June 28, 2009 Ray was sadly called to his final resting place when he was fatally shot in front of Mi Gente Sports Bar & Lounge, while trying to be a good samaritan and break up a fight. Ray's killer still remains at large. This is an unfortunate crime that keeps repeating. We need to stop the violence! By bystanders not saying anything crimes go unsolved and a family never has closure that they need! We know someone knows something please avenge Ray's murderer so someone else doesn’t lose a son, father, brother or friend!
Ray is survived by his mother, father, wife, two children, grandmother, two sisters, and a niece, and array of extended family members & friends.
Ray will never be forgotten! "Let's End the Silence on Violence!!"
